While we eagerly await Seth Troxlers new EP Aphrika these few gems will have to satisfy our hunger. True to his patented style Radio Slave remakes this new Rekids imprint into something tribal that doesn’t have any similarities with its original. But I can’t help to feel that the African sounds together with the eery savanna feeling suits me better.

Mr G Makes No Sense (Radio Slave Remix) (Techno, Tech House)

Quite old by now but still builds the energetic mood like few tracks out there. By the master of Safari Electronique himself

Arnaud Le Texier Wild Quiche (Techno)

Illario Alicante is the master of percussions so it would seem. Here he takes us on a romantic hispanic techno tale that will certainly leave you with strange voices in your head.

“I speak Swahli, i’m twenty two: I had an accident, but I can moonwalk. I’m not looking for oil.” Try that for vocals with a chanting saxophone and congas that bring the song into an orgasmic climax.

Ilario Alicante Living Near Africa (Minimal, Tech House)

The next track is another one on the German label Cecille Records. True to his roots Sis brings you techno based on vocal samples and some deep house texture. If this doesn’t disorient you on the floor after a couple of drinks I don’t know what does.

Sis Nesrib (Minimal, Tech House)

This last one form arearemote made me immediately think of The Moles smashing success Baby You’re The One on Wagoon Repair. At least I wouldn’t be suprised if he went to The Mole for some lessons in groovy techno.

Pitto Sexvibe (Minimal, House)
